Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables was graduated with distinction from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She is a graduate of the BA degree in Communication and Theater. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in acting for theater and choreographing for more than two dozen musicals and plays such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title roles in LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing films and TV roles when she learned improvisation, and later became a Theatre West company member. The voice of her and petite stature have allowed Kelly to take on a range of different characters. She's best known as Naomi Watts' evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as a regular Series on TV Land's The Exes, where she played a party-hopper and paralegal during the day. Kelly was also a regular in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been used in several shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was seen as the dim but charming Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband, and their two little children and enjoys sewing writing as well as volunteering for school activities.
